Chiang Mai is located in the north of Thailand, which is why it is also known as the “Rose of the North”. It is known for its beautiful ancient temples and the mountainous landscape that provides natural attractions.
Flying from Bangkok to Chiang Mai is the quickest way of getting between the two. Domestic flights depart from both Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) and Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) in Bangkok, landing at Chiang Mai International Airport (CNX). If you want to keep it cheap, low-cost carriers, including Thai AirAsia, Nok Air and Thai Lion Air, fly from Don Mueang. You can also find great deals with Thai Smile, Bangkok Airways, Thai Airways and Thai Vietjet Air, which all fly from Suvarnabhumi Airport. The flight takes around one hour and 15 minutes and there are more than 20 flights every day.
Before being able to enjoy Charming Chiang Mai, there are obstacles that a traveler will have to go through. It might take a long process and a lot of effort for travelers to do but know that it will be worth it once you are in your dream destination. Here are the things one needs to consider and do to travel in Chiang Mai, please click the button below for more information.
There are many domestic air routes from Bangkok and provincial capitals. Two main airports in Bangkok are Don Mueang international Airport and Suvarnabhumi International Airport. There are also international airports in tourist popular provinces of Thailand such as Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phuket, Hat Yai, Udon Thani, and Krabi, please click the button below for more information for visitors to Thailand.
